The whole bike world benefits from it." For 20 years, the award has served as a signpost for innovations and trends in the bicycle and ecomobility sector.

That's what the jury says:

With the "Next" balance bike, children's vehicle manufacturer Puky has won the hearts and minds of the jury. The judges praised the captivating visual impression and the modular design of the balance bike, which allows you to switch between twelve and 14-inch wheels. The balance bike can therefore be customised for children aged two to five years. The patented stem design ensures that child-friendly ergonomics are maintained. For the jury, this "growing with the child" is the outstanding feature of the vehicle, which guarantees a long product life: economically sensible and ecologically sustainable. Such bikes are suitable for getting children interested in bike mobility from a very young age.

Ampler Nova

The award-winning model, Nova Pro, is part of Ampler's newly launched Nova product range, which has been specially developed for modern commuters and urban families. That's what the jury says:

According to the manufacturer, the Ampler "Nova" from Estonia is the first e-bike in the world that can be charged via USB-C. A (powerful) charger for everything - laptop, smartphone and e-bike - is now within reach. The use of this plug standard, which is widespread and easy to use, also appeals to people outside the classic bike scene(s). In addition to this headline feature, the bike's clean and stylish design and European manufacturing also impress.

Eovolt Afternoon Pro

The French company Eovolt, a specialist in foldable and compact e-bikes based in Genas near Lyon, is presenting its new name at Eurobike in Frankfurt: UTO. UTO is an acronym for "Unidentified Transport Object" - an allusion to the well-known UFO, but with a clear mission: to develop means of transport that surprise, stand out from the ordinary - and rethink the bicycle.

As the first bike to be developed entirely under the new UTO brand name, the Afternoon Pro foldable e-bike the Eurobike Award in the e-bike category.

That's what the jury says:

The "Afternoon Pro" folding e-bike from French manufacturer Eovolt impresses on three levels: Firstly, the design, which integrates the functions and the electric drive very harmoniously and discreetly with clear, organic shapes. Secondly, the folding mechanisms, which are intuitive and easy to operate, provide clear tactile and acoustic feedback and inspire confidence and reliability. Thirdly, the riding characteristics of the bike: with automatic gears, Gates carbon belts and wide tyres, it was very comfortable to ride.

Fizik One-to-one

Customisation in series production? Saddle manufacturer Fizik has secured the Gold Award in the "Components" category with its one-to-one concept.Customisation in series production? Saddle manufacturer Fizik has secured the Gold Award in the "Components" category with its one-to-one concept.

That's what the jury says:

The "One-to-one" saddle concept from Italian ergonomics specialist Fizik is a foray into the series production of customised products. The saddles are 3D-printed - based on a personalised print profile that uses a comprehensive and dynamic process to determine the ideal saddle shape for each person. The saddles are delivered by post and, if necessary, optimally adjusted with the help of trained specialist shops. What sounds futuristic today could help prevent widespread seating problems in the future.

Hepha Ergo Adjust

Saddle too low, grips or handlebars incorrectly adjusted? Not necessarily, according to Hepha. The Bavarian e-bike manufacturer has developed an app which, in combination with fixed markings at all contact points, makes it possible to adjust the bike correctly without any prior knowledge. The system is deliberately not patented and should therefore be able to be adopted by others. "We simply want to get more people on bikes. We can all benefit from this," says Hepha.

That's what the jury says:

E-bike manufacturer Hepha presents "ErgoAdjust", a system that connects the digital with the physical world. ErgoAdjust means that all contact points on corresponding Hepha bikes are labelled with unique scales. Based on the recorded rider data, the Hepha app provides suggestions for ergonomic adjustments, which can be easily transferred to the bike even by non-experts thanks to the scales. Convincing problem description and solution. Many people ride ergonomically incorrectly adjusted bikes - with negative consequences: Pain, frustration, avoidance. ErgoAdjust aims to put an end to this.

Polisport HRP Luggage Carrier

A lightweight but sturdy luggage carrier manufactured in Europe won the Gold Award in the "Accessories" category.

That's what the jury says:

Polisport Plásticos is a plastics specialist from Portugal. The company surprises with a component that is not typically the centre of attention. The "HRP Luggage Carrier" is lightweight, is injection moulded in Europe from composite material and is described by the manufacturer as corrosion-resistant, vibration-damping and resilient. The combination of low weight (less than one kilogramme) with a high payload (27 kilogrammes according to ISO11243, up to 50 kilogrammes according to the manufacturer) and the clear design are just as impressive as the fact that the manufacturer is breaking new ground in the choice of materials.

Supernova Redstream

Finally, Supernova presents a battery-powered rear light and has won a Gold Award in the "Accessories" category.
The bikepacker from the editorial team is very excited. But it will be a while before it comes onto the market. Maybe something for the Christmas tree?

That's what the jury says:

It can be mounted on bikepacking bags in a stable manner and with a good angle adjustment, which usually conceal the optimum mounting points for rear lights. The Redstream lights also offer a brake light function and battery life optimising charge control including frost protection. The lights are "Made in Germany"; the manufacturer offers a five-year warranty and guarantees repairs for ten years.

Leatt 5.0 Gravity

The full-face helmet 5.0 Gravity from Leatt has won the Gold Award in the clothing and accessories category. Ten years after the introduction of the 360° Turbine safety technology, Leatt presents the next generation: 360° Turbines EVO. The new triple density construction is designed to significantly improve the absorption of rotational and impact forces at different speeds. According to the manufacturer, the 5.0 Gravity helmet is also the world's first helmet with the new BOA FS2 customisation system: a plus point in terms of individual fit and stability. Further features: partial carbon shell for high strength with reduced weight, removable ventilation grille in the chin guard and a transparent visor extension for optimised visibility in the rain.

That's what the jury says:

The "5.0 Gravity" full-face helmet from Leatt surprises with its low weight - despite its visually powerful first impression. Even with a partial carbon shell, the helmet is lighter than others with a full carbon shell. The helmet's striking, unique design and impeccable workmanship are particularly pleasing. In addition, the customisability thanks to the BOA fit system and the excellent fit thanks to the adjustable cheek pads. The peak extension for bad weather gives the helmet a wider range of uses.

vit:bikes Academy

In the "Digital Solutions" category, vit:bikes GmbH won a Eurobike Gold Award for its digital training programme for bicycle mechatronics technicians.

That's what the jury says:

The course, which focuses on e-bikes, is certified and subsidised by the Federal Employment Agency - meaning that it can also be used alongside a job or as a lateral entry into the industry. A good solution for a pressing problem of our time and the industry. The academy also stands out with its range of programmes: it offers over 650 online and video lessons as well as extensive exercises and support for trainees.

Green Award for sustainable innovation

The Green Award 2025 went to Vaude for the "TrailControl 20+ Zero" backpack. According to the manufacturer, this is a flagship project that demonstrates how materials with a carbon footprint of zero can contribute to climate neutrality. The award emphasises the growing importance of sustainability in the bicycle industry.

That's what the jury says:

In a world full of backpacks, the Vaude "TrailControl 20+ Zero" is one that stands out thanks to its consistently sustainable and resource-conserving production methods. It's not just another rucksack - there's a reason it exists: The first textile product with a CO2 footprint of zero according to the manufacturer, made from pioneering material with waste materials and certified biomethane, impresses with its exemplary character and the easily comprehensible and verifiable information on its ecological footprint. Despite all the emphasis on sustainability, the primary function of the mountain bike backpack remains completely intact: A functional product.

Urbanisto Modular Bicycle/Cargo Bike

That's what the jury says:

The modular e-bike from Urbanisto, which can be converted from an e-bike to an e-cargobike and back in just a few simple steps without the need for tools, impresses with its innovative strength, versatility and the huge potential that the idea harbours. The concept stimulates the imagination for many other modular ideas that the manufacturer could possibly realise. The simple adaptability of a product to the most diverse mobility and transport needs is groundbreaking in the construction of affordable and resource-saving vehicles.
