Korbi Engstler is not a rampage rider, a World Cup racer or an FMB slopestyler. But he rides trails so playfully that over half a million people follow him on social media - and we conducted this interview with him. He confesses his biggest weaknesses to us.

Korbinian Engstler from Wangen in the Allgäu (Team Ghost) discovered biking for himself at the age of eleven. The venue was Wangen - more precisely the dirt spot of local hero Guido Tschugg. Korbi also bought his first mountain bike from Guido: a second-hand Ghost Cagua for 1400 euros. Less than ten years later, Korbi himself is sponsored by the brand and is now one of the most popular bike influencers in Germany. More than half a million people follow him on social media.

Last year, Korbi presented his biggest video project to date. "Why Not" is about trails, friends and missions. The MTB documentary tells the story of three friends travelling through Iceland, Canada and Namibia in search of freedom and happiness. The film combines action-packed scenes with emotional moments and a special atmosphere that makes real friendship tangible. Running time: 32 minutes.

Born in South Baden, Laurin Lehner is, by his own admission, a lousy racer. Maybe that's why he is fascinated by creative, playful biking. What counts for him is not how fast you get from A to B, but what happens in between. Lehner writes reports, interviews scene celebrities and tests products and bikes - preferably those with a lot of suspension travel.
