Rose Bikes, the bicycle manufacturer from Bocholt, is expanding its presence with a new brand store in Hamburg. The store will open on 24 May 2025 and is centrally located at Ballindamm 33, in the immediate vicinity of Hamburg City Hall. Rose Bikes will present its range of road bikes, gravel bikes, mountain bikes, urban bikes and e-bikes on an area of around 500 square metres. The company follows its brand mission statement "Experience Cycling", which focuses on individual perspectives and experiences around the bicycle.
The exhibition in the new Rose brand store is organised according to clear experience categories. Customers can explore the bike portfolio in a curated exhibition design. In addition to the exhibits, a separate test fleet of 75 bikes is available. These can be tested directly on site on the spacious cycle path on the banks of the Alster. Despite the central city centre location, this enables a smooth test ride. In addition to the bicycle range, the store also offers a selection of clothing and accessories.
Rose Bikes pays particular attention to customer service. Customers can pick up their new bike in an area separated by glass walls. The store team makes individual adjustments here and provides additional tips and assistance. A dedicated service workshop is located directly next door. In addition to repair and maintenance work, it also offers a range of the most important spare and wear parts.
A central element of the new brand store is the integrated coffee bar. It is intended to serve as a starting point for community events and emphasise the brand's approachability. Sebastian Bomm, Director Experience and Managing Director Rose Digital, explains: "We are delighted to be able to create a central meeting point in Hamburg that is open to everyone. No matter how experienced you are on a bike." According to Bomm, the main aim is to inspire people to discover the bike as a means of personal expression and to minimise the barriers to accessing cycling as a whole.
To mark the opening of the new brand store, Rose Bikes is hosting a special event on Saturday 24 May. Various bike tours will be offered from 2 pm. Afterwards, guests can round off the evening with a relaxed get-together with the Rose team. This event offers cycling enthusiasts the opportunity to get to know the new location and socialise with like-minded people.
