Community Rides at the end of the campaign week

The crowning glory of the open week will be two community rides on Saturday 6 September. These joint rides offer the opportunity to explore the surroundings of Weil der Stadt with like-minded people and to experience Velotraum bikes in their natural environment. For ambitious cyclists, the first tour starts at 8.30 a.m. at Marienplatz in Stuttgart. This longer route is designed for participants who want to cycle at a higher average speed. A refreshment stop is planned halfway along the route to recharge your batteries and exchange ideas with the other cyclists. The arrival at Velotraum in Weil der Stadt is planned for 1 p.m., where snacks will be waiting for the group.

Cyclists who prefer a shorter route have the option of finishing the tour individually in Herrenberg or Holzgerlingen and travelling home from there. This allows for flexible participation depending on personal fitness and available time. Those who prefer a more leisurely ride can take part in the second tour, which starts at 10.30 a.m. directly at Velotraum in Weil der Stadt. This route covers around 35 kilometres and mainly takes you along paved, car-free country lanes and cycle paths. This group should also arrive back at Velotraum around 1 p.m. to enjoy the snacks provided together with the participants of the longer tour.

Registration and further information

Registration for the community rides will take place via the Grouprides.cc platform. There, interested parties can register for one of the two tours and receive all the necessary information on the route, the level of difficulty and any requirements for participation. Further details about the tours and the entire open week will be communicated via various channels in the near future. Velotraum plans to publish additional information via its newsletter, Instagram channel and on the company's own blog. Interested parties should keep an eye on these channels so as not to miss any updates and to be able to register for the desired activities in good time.

The open week not only offers the opportunity to familiarise yourself with Velotraum bikes and take test rides, but also to talk to the team and learn more about the philosophy and manufacturing processes. For bike enthusiasts from the region, this could be a good opportunity to get to know the manufacturer better and take advantage of the special offers. The Community Rides at the end of the week round off the programme and make it possible to experience the bikes in their natural environment and exchange ideas with like-minded people.
