The E-Inception is the defending champion in this comparison. And it shows once again that it is a force to be reckoned with in the all-mountain league.

You will search in vain for the absolute best values - but the e-MTB from Hamburg simply has hardly any weaknesses. The equipment is absolutely top: XTR gears, Fox Factory suspension, carbon wheels and handlebars. No other bike rolls onto the test track so elegantly. Paired with the full carbon frame, the bike weighs well below average at 23 kilos - despite the high-capacity 726 battery. The balanced overall picture continues on the trail. The modern geometry ensures plenty of safety and riding stability off-road. At the wheel of this bike, you don't have to shy away from enduro descents either, albeit with the handbrake pulled a little. Thanks to the lightweight wheels and low overall weight, the E-Inception is still one of the more manoeuvrable and playful candidates in the comparison.

Conclusion on the Stevens E-Inception AM 9.7.2 GTF

Strong all-rounder that is just as convincing on moderate tours as it is on racy trail use. Also uncomplicated uphill. Top equipment, fair price, good range. Test winner on points.
