With the Nova KinetiCore, Lazer presents another model from the KinetiCore series. The Nova is a helmet specially developed for e-bike riders that is certified to the NTA-8776 standard and thus offers special protection at the higher speeds of e-bikes and speed pedelecs.

The commuter helmet combines advanced safety technology with practical everyday functions and is designed to meet the requirements of demanding cyclists. The 360° Smart LED included in the scope of delivery is particularly eye-catching, ensuring better visibility in road traffic and positioned at eye level with other traffic.

Customisable ventilation for all weather conditions

The Lazer Nova KinetiCore has a sophisticated ventilation system that can be flexibly adapted to different weather conditions. A slider on the top of the helmet allows you to choose between improved ventilation when open and reduced air supply when the slider is closed.

This function can also be easily operated while riding, allowing cyclists to react to changing conditions at any time. This system is complemented by side openings that generate an internal air flow from the front to the rear. This draws in cool air and removes warm air without allowing rain to penetrate the helmet - an important aspect for all-weather cyclists.

For cold days, Lazer supplies a removable and washable winter kit that additionally warms the ears and sides of the face. This practical addition ensures that the helmet can be used all year round and is comfortable to wear even at low temperatures. The washability of the winter kit also ensures long-term hygienic use.

Integrated visor and intelligent lighting

Another highlight of the Nova KinetiCore is the integrated visor, which protects the eyes from wind, rain and insects while riding. The movable visor can be set in four different positions: all the way up, all the way down or in two intermediate positions. According to the manufacturer, the use of additional glasses is possible in all four positions without any problems, which is particularly relevant for spectacle wearers.

The rechargeable 360° Smart LED included in the scope of delivery can be attached to the top of the helmet and provides all-round visible lighting. Particularly practical: the light offers four different modes. In addition to continuous light, flashing light and pulsing, there is an automatic mode that activates automatically in poor light conditions.

All modes are combined with an integrated brake light that warns following traffic when the rider brakes. If the helmet is equipped with the slider, a Lazer Universal LED can also be fitted to the rear of the helmet, which further increases visibility.

Advanced security technology

The safety of the Nova KinetiCore is based on the patented KinetiCore technology from Lazer. This uses specially moulded EPS foam blocks that deform under direct and rotating forces in a controlled manner until they break. In this way, they absorb the impact energy before it reaches the brain. At the same time, this design reduces the use of plastics and excess material, which leads to an improved use of raw materials.

Another aspect of sustainability is Lazer's EcoLoc system, which works completely without adhesives. This enables simple and environmentally friendly disassembly at the end of the product life cycle. The NTA-8776 certification confirms that the helmet is designed for the higher speeds and stronger impact forces that can occur when riding e-bikes and especially S-pedelecs.

The Lazer Nova KinetiCore is available in three sizes (S, M, L) and comes in a matt black colour. With a weight of 580 grams in size M (without accessories), the helmet is in the medium weight range for commuter helmets.

The scope of delivery includes the 360° Smart LED, which weighs an extra 100 grams, and the winter kit, which weighs a further 50 grams. The helmet will be available from the end of January 2026 at a recommended retail price of 249.95 euros.
