The pushchair manufacturer Hauck is expanding its range with a versatile bicycle trailer. The new Bike N Walk Duo is designed to serve families as a flexible companion for various activities. The 3-in-1 concept allows it to be used as a bike trailer, buggy and outdoor pushchair.
Multifunctional trailer for active families
The extensive equipment of the new Hauck trailer includes a drawbar, two couplings, a pennant as well as a buggy wheel and a sports wheel. An air pump is also included in the scope of delivery. According to the manufacturer, the trailer can be converted for different purposes in just a few simple steps. The drawbar that is not required can be stowed away on the side of the trailer.
Comfortable two-seater with plenty of space
The spacious interior can accommodate two children up to a weight of 22 kilograms each or a height of 120 centimetres. The ergonomically shaped seats can be individually adjusted and have head cushions and 5-point harnesses for a secure fit. The backrests can be adjusted in two positions.
An LED light and reflective elements on the trailer ensure good visibility in poor lighting conditions. A separate pocket is integrated for storing keys and other small items. Larger purchases or items of luggage weighing up to six kilograms can be stored in the boot.
Adaptable to different substrates
To optimise riding comfort on different surfaces, the Bike N Walk Duo has adjustable suspension. This can be flexibly adapted to kerbs, steps, forest paths or cobblestones.
The height-adjustable push handle is designed to enable ergonomic use for different body sizes. It can be locked in three positions at a height of 97, 105 and 113 centimetres. The trailer is designed to offer plenty of legroom for pushing, so that long steps are also possible.
Protection from the weather
The Bike N Walk Duo is equipped with a 3-in-1 canopy to protect little passengers from the sun, wind and rain. This consists of a rain cover, a sun canopy with UV protection factor 50+ and a mesh insert. The latter is designed to ensure good air circulation and keep insects out. The darkened side windows can be removed if required.
Security and control
The trailer has several braking systems for safe handling in different situations. A handbrake and a foot brake are available in sport and buggy mode. An additional hand strap is designed to ensure control even during faster movements or on slopes. According to the manufacturer, the combination of these elements enables good control of the trailer in all areas of use.
Compact for transport and storage
The Bike N Walk Duo can be folded for transport in the car or for space-saving storage. The trailer is said to be particularly light and can be folded up in a few simple steps. The compact dimensions when folded are designed to make transport easier when travelling around town or visiting relatives. When folded, the Hauck measures just 100 x 71.5 x 38 centimetres (length, width, height).
