The Reacha trailers are characterised by their modular concept, which enables a high degree of adaptability to different transport requirements. All models are based on a lightweight, anodised aluminium frame that offers both stability and low weight. The trailers can be adjusted without tools and can be extended with various accessories depending on the model. A special feature is the Snap-Lock system, which allows the trailers to be dismantled in just a few minutes, making storage and transport much easier.

Reacha Sport: The versatile all-rounder in a practical check

The Reacha Sport is the most versatile model in the portfolio and is aimed at active people who want to transport their sports equipment. With its extendable drawbar, the Thule Reacha Sport allows you to transport items up to 4.5 metres in length, making it ideal for surfboards, kayaks or paddleboards. Thanks to its width-adjustable frame, it is designed to adapt to different transport requirements and thus offer maximum flexibility for different activities. We put it through its paces:

Conclusion: Reacha Sport

The Reacha Sport is a practical and versatile trailer. Even with two SUPs including paddles and swimming equipment, the trailer was not yet fully utilised. The directional stability and handling characteristics, even on narrow, winding cycle paths, were impressive. A big plus point is the simple, tool-free assembly, even if the fine adjustment between the drawbar and rear wheel required some patience. The workmanship and accessories are high quality and well thought out. At around 800 euros (>> e.g. available here), the Thule Reacha Sport is an investment.

The alternatives: Reacha Sport Beach - specialist for sandy beaches

The Reacha Sport Beach is a specialised version designed especially for use on beaches. It has wide, thick tyres that make it easier to drive over soft sand and thus simplify the transport of water sports equipment to the beach. Like the Reacha Sport, the Beach model can also transport items up to 4.5 metres in length, making it ideal for surfboards, SUPs or kayaks.

The technical specifications largely correspond to the standard model, with the decisive difference that the tyres are suitable for the beach.

Reacha City: Compact solution for urban spaces

With the Reacha City, the manufacturer offers a more compact version that has been specially developed for urban use and shorter transport goods. This trailer is designed for transporting equipment up to 1.5 metres in length and is therefore suitable for shortboards, foils or camping equipment. The shorter drawbar ensures better manoeuvrability in busy city streets, while an additional side stand provides stability when loading.

Despite its more compact dimensions, the Reacha City retains its modular design and can be extended with various accessories. For larger loads, the drawbar can be extended with the separately available Reacha Drawbar City extension accessory, which emphasises the flexibility of the system. The trailer can be pulled by hand or attached to a bicycle with an optional bicycle connector, making it a versatile companion for everyday use.

Reacha City Platform: Specialist for bulky loads

The Reacha City Platform completes the range with a special solution for transporting bulky, boxy items. It has a laminated wooden platform that provides a stable base for food crates, equipment cases or similar items. Optionally, the platform can be supplemented with side walls to transform it into a stable box, making it even more versatile.

Like all Reacha models, the City Platform is characterised by its modular design and lightweight aluminium construction. It can be dismantled in just a few minutes, making it easier to store and transport. With 85 per cent of the components manufactured in Europe, this model also underlines the manufacturer's commitment to sustainability. The adjustable drawbar enables effortless handling, regardless of whether the trailer is being pulled by hand or used as a bicycle trailer.

Sustainable construction

A consistent feature of all Reacha trailers is the focus on sustainability. The use of high-quality anodised aluminium is intended to combine lightness with durability and thus reduce the consumption of resources. With a proportion of 85 percent European components, transport routes are also minimised and the environmental impact reduced, according to the manufacturer. The modular design not only enables a high degree of flexibility, but also easy repair and maintenance, which extends the service life of the products.
