Grundig is calling for a price of 1,200 euros for the new ECB28 city e-bike and is now offering the model for pre-order. The e-bike is powered by a 250-watt Ananda rear motor with 42 Nm torque. According to the manufacturer, the 36-volt battery (13 Ah) should provide a range of up to 120 kilometres. The equipment also includes hydraulic disc brakes and a suspension fork with 50 mm travel. There is an exclusive discount for pre-orders.

The ECB28 has an EU-compliant, removable 36-volt battery with a capacity of 13 Ah, which should enable a maximum range of 120 kilometres. Thanks to the detachable design, the power supply can be easily removed for charging. The brushless 250 watt motor from Ananda delivers a torque of 42 Nm and offers five different support levels as well as a practical push assist for comfortable manoeuvring in tight situations or when parking the bike.



Safety is ensured by hydraulic disc brakes on the front and rear wheels, which provide reliable braking power even in wet conditions. The suspension fork with 50 mm suspension travel compensates for uneven road surfaces and noticeably increases riding comfort. The EMC-approved front and rear lights ensure good visibility in road traffic and fulfil all legal requirements. The e-bike rolls on 700C x 45C tyres with 30 TPI, which offer a good balance between comfort and efficiency. A quick release on the front wheel enables easy and tool-free wheel changes. The bike is delivered 85 per cent pre-assembled so that only a few steps are required before the first ride.
