With the Storck Fascenario.X Launch Edition, the lightweight forge from Hesse is launching a pure gracer (a play on words from Grave & Racer) - Storck itself says: A gravel bike with racing bike genes.

Storck presents the Fascenario.X Launch Edition. The carbon frame is based on the Fascenario.5 platform and has been further developed for gravel use. The complete bike weighs from 7.1 kg. Buyers can choose between three groupsets: Shimano GRX RX820, GRX RX827 Di2 or SRAM Force E1 XPLR. The Zeitjaeger Platinum 45G wheels come as standard. The Launch Edition comes in Sparkling Dark Emerald Green with rose gold decals.

Carbon frame made from Fascenario.5 platform

The frame is based on the Fascenario.5 road bike. Storck has modified the design for gravel requirements. According to the manufacturer, the geometry should enable stability at high speeds on different surfaces. The frame is still designed for low weight.

The Launch Edition comes in Sparkling Dark Emerald Green. The deep dark green colour has a metallic shimmer. Rose gold decals contrast with the paintwork.

Choice of Shimano GRX and SRAM XPLR

There are three groupsets to choose from. The mechanical Shimano GRX RX820 is available as a 1x12 or 2x12 version. The electronic GRX RX827 Di2 also offers both gear ratios. SRAM supplies the Force E1 XPLR and Red E1 XPLR each as a 1x13 system.

All variants use the Zeitjaeger Platinum 45G wheels. The wheels were developed for gravel and colour-coordinated with the Launch Edition. They are designed to combine aerodynamic efficiency with low weight.

Availability

The Fascenario.X Launch Edition is available in the Storck webshop and in the flagship stores in Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Idstein, Munich and Wertheim. The entry-level price is 5,899 euros. Markus Storck, founder and CEO, explains: "We wanted to create a gravel bike that rides like a racing bike - fast, direct and efficient."

Born in South Baden, Laurin Lehner is, by his own admission, a lousy racer. Maybe that's why he is fascinated by creative, playful biking. What counts for him is not how fast you get from A to B, but what happens in between. Lehner writes reports, interviews scene celebrities and tests products and bikes - preferably those with a lot of suspension travel.
