Crossworx Cycles introduces the Universal Drop Out (UDO) for the Trip, Pace, Dash and Lite full suspension models. The system allows you to switch between 29-inch wheels and mullet configuration without having to replace the entire rear triangle. The dropouts remain UDH-compatible for Sram Transmission drivetrains. The manufacturer from Rudolstadt produces all frames in-house and delivers bikes in the colour Radiant Raw after three weeks, powder-coated versions after six weeks.
Crossworx Cycles manufactures all frames in its own production facility in Rudolstadt, Thuringia. With seven different models in the programme, this means a wide range of variants. The new UDO dropout reduces the number of different rear triangle variants. This means that certain components can be manufactured in advance, which simplifies production processes.
The delivery time for a frame is two to three weeks. The UDO system should make processes more stable and easier to plan. However, the new design requires twice the number of milled parts compared to the previous solution. This increases production costs and has an impact on the cost structure. Nevertheless, the manufacturer has left the price unchanged.
The models are available as a frame kit or complete bike via the configurator on the homepage. In addition to the aluminium raw look, six other colours and all RAL Classic shades in matt and gloss are available. The chassis, cockpit and other components can be customised.
Crossworx delivers bikes in the colour Radiant Raw after three weeks. Powder-coated versions require six weeks production time. The regional production and supply chain make these short delivery times possible. All bikes are now manufactured and delivered with the UDO standard.
Crossworx Cycles has been producing aluminium frames and bikes for five years. The portfolio includes two full-suspension models, a trail hardtail, a 24-inch children's bike, a 28-inch gravel bike and two e-MTBs.
