The French sporting goods manufacturer Decathlon has launched a comprehensive recall for several e-bike models of its own brands Rockrider and Btwin. The safety check revealed a critical error in the motor software version 8.2, which can lead to dangerous situations. This error can cause the pedals to move backwards unintentionally while riding.
The recall affects bikes sold between April and December 2025. Customers should stop using their bikes immediately and arrange a service appointment. A total of 13 different variants of the Rockrider E-ACTV 900 HF/LF and Btwin LD 920E MF and LD 940E LF models are affected.
