The Maxxis BIKE Transalp will start its anniversary edition from 9 to 15 July 2023. The stage race has been inspiring the MTB scene worldwide for a quarter of a century - the 2023 Transalp route leads from Nauders to Riva del Garda in seven stages. It is listed as an S1 category race in the International Cycling Union (UCI) calendar. We'll prepare your mind with a free webinar - you'll have to train your legs on your own.

How do I prepare for a seven-day stage race or a marathon? What do I need to consider when training, choosing a bike and tyres? What character does the route have this year? In our free webinar "Go long and hard!" presented by MAXXIS we provide answers to all these questions.

On Wednesday, 1 March, live from 7 pm our BIKE Transalp pros and other bike industry experts will give you everything you need to know to get through a race like the Maxxis BIKE Transalp in this one-hour webinar. And of course there will be plenty of anecdotes, exciting details and impressions from the 25 years of BIKE Transalp history.

Karl Platt - our long-time companion, "Mister Transalp", two-time German MTB Marathon Champion and Five-time Cape Epic winner - will be there live and motivate you to join him at the start line of the 25th BIKE Transalp. He has also Multiple winner and finisher of the race has some valuable tips for you in his bike rucksack.

Henri LesewitzBIKE editor-in-chief, long-distance expert and participant in the first BIKE Transalp Challenge in 1998, will present you together with Karen Ellerriding technique coach and one of the first women to take part in the Transalp première, will provide special first-hand tips and talk about the pitfalls of a seven-day challenge. As multiple finishers of the legendary stage race, the duo have plenty of anecdotes up their sleeves.

David Volltraining expert for BIKE and six-time Transalp participant, will be on hand to give you tips on marathon preparation and training management.
