They travelled to Lake Molveno from Kiel, Austria, Switzerland and Andorra. Two participants even came from the USA! However, as they currently live in South Tyrol for work, they didn't have quite as far to travel to Lake Molveno. However, they were the ones who were least able to grasp what they were able to experience during the four days of the BIKE Women Camp in June: the huge trail network of Dolomiti Paganella Bike with a view of the Brenta Dolomites and the turquoise-coloured Lago di Molveno, brand new test bikes that were precisely set up for each participant, riding technique workshops for beginners and even for jump-oriented bike park shredders. Plus the highly committed exhibitors, who not only handed out test equipment, but also provided drinks, competitions and plenty of eye-opening experiences in their workshops.
And because you can't have trails like this every day in such a setting, with such superbikes, it was good that we also had our photographer "Mia" Knoll with us:
Once again it became clear how good it is that the camp takes place in June, the longest day of the year, otherwise the whole programme would not have been possible. While queuing at the pizza trolley, the two Americans still found time to whatsapp photos to their friends in the USA: "They all want to come next year, because a camp like this would easily cost 2,000 dollars here in America."
