Selle Italia is expanding its range with the "Opal White" capsule collection, consistently focussing on a sophisticated look with an opal finish. The special collection includes four SLR saddle models and a matching handlebar tape in the same design - interesting for anyone who wants to enhance the look of their road or gravel bike without compromising on performance.

The Italian saddle manufacturer from Asolo is expanding the SLR series with a special collection with a white, iridescent finish. The surface reflects light in different colours, similar to an opal. All four saddle models and the handlebar tape feature the new colour design with iridescent Selle Italia logos.

The four saddle models

The SLR 3D Carbon Opal White is the top model in the collection. The cover is produced using a 3D printing process and creates opalescent reflections. The carbon struts reduce the weight to 137 grams in size S3.

The SLR Carbon Opal White also utilises carbon struts and hand-covered padding. At 118 grams in size S3, it is the lightest model in the series. The surface changes colour depending on the incidence of light.

The two entry-level models SLR Elite and SLR Advan use round steel struts. The Elite model has a shock absorber for cushioning. The Advan model is the basic version of the collection.

Handlebar tape and prices

The Bar Tape Opal White has a shimmering opal finish over the entire surface; the Selle Italia logo complements the design. The manufacturer promises grip and control in all conditions.

Prices start at 159.90 euros for the SLR Advan. The SLR Elite costs 239.90 euros, the SLR Carbon 319.90 euros. The top model SLR 3D Carbon costs 449.90 euros. The handlebar tape is available for 34.90 euros.
