The second generation of the PRO Stealth Offroad Performance saddle has been redeveloped from the ground up.
PRO has introduced the second generation of the Stealth Offroad Performance saddle. The saddle has been developed from scratch and is designed to meet the requirements of race-orientated mountain bike and gravel bike riders.

Topics in this article

The design of the new PRO Stealth Offroad Performance saddle is based on the rest of the PRO Offroad series. According to the manufacturer, the saddle enables an aggressive, aerodynamic riding position, similar to the PRO Stealth Road saddles. At the same time, it is designed for the special challenges of off-road cycling. The construction is based on a carbon-reinforced polymer shell, which is said to be stiffer than the previous version. The rear end of the saddle has been raised. PRO claims that this creates a more robust base for more efficient power transmission when seated. At the same time, the increased contact surface is said to distribute pressure better and reduce discomfort. The side profiles have also been raised, which PRO claims should provide more control when cornering. The saddle measures 255 millimetres in length and is available in two widths: 142 millimetres and 152 millimetres. According to the manufacturer, the weight starts at 233 grams.

Technical equipment of the PRO Stealth Offroad Performance saddle

The INOX stainless steel rails are designed to ensure durability. The wide anatomical cut-out in the centre of the saddle has a drainage opening instead of a complete cut-out. According to the manufacturer, this feature sets the off-road saddle apart from competitor products. The EVA padding with varying material thickness has been specially adapted to the requirements of race-orientated mountain bike and gravel bike riders. The ergonomically shaped PU cover should not easily catch on wide trousers and at the same time reduce chafing. It is also designed to protect the saddle from damage in the event of a fall.

Area of application and target group

PRO is positioning the Stealth Offroad Performance saddle as a racing saddle for off-road use. It is aimed at riders who prefer an aggressive, forward-leaning riding position. The saddle is compatible with the PRO saddle accessory mount, which can be used to attach a saddle container or multitool, for example. PRO offers a 30-day money-back guarantee to make it easier to try out the new saddle.
