The BIKE Festival in Saalfelden Leogang from 12 to 14 September marks the grand finale of the bike season. The motto: biking instead of strolling. Make a note of this date in your diary now!

It feels like summer has barely begun when you read in the headline: "Season finale". Bitter, but unfortunately true - welcome to Central Europe! The good news is that you can still look forward to the September weekend - for 4 reasons at once BIKE Festival Saalfelden Leogang.

1st weather opportunity 2025

After last year's bad weather caper, the signs are good that the weather will be in our favour this time. Especially after the miserable July, we are forecasting a powerful late summer. We can't guarantee it, but somehow we're pretty sure ;-)

2. trail proximity

No other festival is located directly at the foot of a bike park with such a diverse range of trails as here in Leogang. There are several routes for flow fans, single trail hunters, stunt freeriders and downhillers. A must for downhill fans: the original UCI downhill route.

3. new routes

Just in time for the BIKE Festival, Bikepark Leogang is presenting new lines. The "Hangman I" now offers several alternative lines from the mountain station. For single trail fans, there is a new, natural but challenging black trail (approx. 1.3 km, 300 metres in altitude). Stunt freeriders can look forward to the brand new "T-Line" jumpline, a kind of Flying Gangster on Steroids! More sharkfins, more airtime, more massive table jumps. Stay tuned.

4th festival experience

As always, the focus at the 6th BIKE Festival Saalfelden Leogang is on experiences on and off the bike: workshops such as the BIKE Academy, "Ride with the Pros", suspension tips from the BIKE test editors or simply shooting with Lukas Knopf or Jasper Jauch. So mark the date in your diary in red - and don't forget to eat your plate full. Then the weather will be fine too!

Born in South Baden, Laurin Lehner is, by his own admission, a lousy racer. Maybe that's why he is fascinated by creative, playful biking. What counts for him is not how fast you get from A to B, but what happens in between. Lehner writes reports, interviews scene celebrities and tests products and bikes - preferably those with a lot of suspension travel.
