On Friday, 12 September, the Expo Area at the Asitzbahn valley station will open its doors to visitors. Admission to the exhibition is free. Numerous leading brands in the industry will be presenting their new products for the upcoming 2026 season: The products on display can not only be viewed, but also tested directly on site - either on the spacious practice area right next to the expo or on the various trails in the bike park. All lines and trails in the Epic Bikepark Leogang will remain open without restrictions throughout the entire festival weekend. As a special offer, festival visitors receive a 10 per cent discount on all bike park day tickets, providing the perfect opportunity to savour the variety of trails and test the latest equipment under real conditions at the same time.
A highlight of the festival are the varied bike workshops with prominent instructors from the mountain bike scene. Former 4X World Champion Joost Wichman shares his knowledge of efficient pumping and acceleration on the pump track. Elias Schwärzler, founder of the "Senders Academy", the first holistic MTB Academy in German-speaking countries, will be offering a special Gambler Ride Out, where participants will have the opportunity to test the new Scott Gambler for the first time.
The festival places particular emphasis on an inclusive programme that appeals to all target groups. Marlena Neißl offers an exclusive "Women's Downhill Session" especially for female mountain bikers, which focusses on the specific requirements and techniques of women's downhill biking. In his sessions, dirt jump legend and yoga instructor Timo Pritzel combines mountain biking with mindfulness exercises and shows how mental balance can improve riding performance. Thomas Klausner, a professional bike trialist, will provide spectacular show acts, exploring the limits of what is physically possible on two wheels with his demonstrations.
Special attention is paid to the next generation: the VPACE Kids Cup and the SCOTT Junior Trophy Pumptrack give young mountain bike fans the opportunity to get their first taste of competition and gain valuable racing experience. The events are specially tailored to the needs and abilities of children and young people and are accompanied by an age-appropriate supporting programme. There are also special courses for the next generation, which are led by experienced coaches and teach young riders the basics of mountain biking in a fun way.
The BIKE Festival Saalfelden Leogang is not only a platform for technical exchange and product testing, but also an important meeting point for the mountain bike community. At signing sessions and meet-and-greets, fans have the opportunity to meet their idols from the scene in person, collect autographs and exchange ideas with like-minded people. These events create a unique atmosphere of connection and inspiration within the mountain bike community.
The grand finale of an eventful festival day is the big party on Saturday evening. In the B3 Bar, DJ Max Teaser creates the right atmosphere when bikers review their experiences of the day and celebrate together. This combination of a sporting programme during the day and a sociable get-together in the evening makes the BIKE Festival an all-round successful experience for all participants.
