The Family Bike Days in the Dolomiti Paganella bike region will take place on 5-7 June. The idea: a weekend full of action, fun and family adventures.

New to the programme this year are special riding technique workshops for women and mothers. The programme is complemented by relaxed yoga sessions in the morning - with a view of the lake, cappuccino and fresh croissants included.
However, there is no need to be physically fit: despite the support of the cable cars in Molveno and Andalo, participants should have a solid basic level of fitness. The region offers a large selection of flow trails ranging in difficulty from blue to red, supplemented by natural routes for more ambitious bikers.

The programme is varied. On two days, the participants are accompanied by guides in performance-orientated groups, while on Sunday a joint family rally is on the agenda. There are also technique training sessions especially for women, yoga sessions by the lake and lunch breaks together at a mountain hut. In the afternoon, workshops such as bunny hop and wheelie are on the programme, supplemented by wrenching and technical seminars from industry partners. The evenings end in a relaxed atmosphere with pizza and pasta right by the lake. The event concludes with an award ceremony on the last day.

When it comes to equipment, the organisers recommend all-mountain, trail or enduro bikes - whether classic or electric. Children should ride at least a 24-inch bike. Protectors such as knee and elbow pads and a full-face helmet are particularly useful for younger participants. A technically sound bike with reliable brakes is also important.

How do you like this article?

The starting point of the event is the area at Lake Molveno in Molveno, part of the Dolomiti Paganella bike destination. Accreditation starts at 10am on the first day, with the official end scheduled for the last afternoon at around 4pm. Overnight accommodation is available directly in Molveno or in nearby Andalo, which is only a few kilometres away.
The number of participants is deliberately limited: A total of 60 people can take part, riding in groups with a maximum of ten bikers. Bookings can be made via various event packages, which include catering and a three-day ticket for the mountain railways in addition to participation. Discounts are available for Gravity Card holders.

Who is the event suitable for?
For all bike-loving families - i.e. mums, dads and children aged between 8 and 15 who already have some trail experience. New this year: special riding technique workshops for women and mums. You'll also start the day with a relaxed yoga session - including cappuccino and fresh croissants.

How demanding is the event?
Even if we use the cable cars in Molveno and Andalo, you should bring a certain level of fitness with you. The region offers a wide range of flow trails from blue to red. And for those who like it a little more natural, there are of course also exciting natural trails.

What does the programme look like?
On two days, you will be supervised by our guides in different ability groups. On Sunday, you will start the rally together as a family. New features include special riding technique sessions for women and a morning yoga session right by the lake. At lunchtime, everyone meets up for lunch together at a rustic mountain hut.
In the afternoon, workshops such as bunny hop and wheelie are on the programme - right on the event site. In addition, our industry partners offer screwdriver workshops and technical sessions on various topics. In the evening, it will be relaxed: Pizza and pasta by the lake. The event concludes on the last afternoon with the award ceremony for the winning derby teams.

Which bike and which equipment do you recommend?
We recommend all-mountain, trail or enduro bikes - whether organic bikes or e-MTBs - ideally with grippy tread tyres. Children should be travelling on at least a 24-inch bike. A full-face helmet is welcome for children, as are knee and elbow protectors. Important: The bikes should be technically sound and have reliable brakes.

When should we be on site?
Accreditation and welcoming start at 10:00 on the first day. The event ends on the last day at around 16:00 with the award ceremony.

Where is the meeting point?
The Family Bike Days take place in the bike destination Dolomiti Paganella. The event site is located directly on Lake Molveno in Molveno. Our recommendation: choose accommodation or a campsite directly in Molveno. The town of Andalo is only about 4 kilometres away.

How do I register and which package do I book?
