Gravel event: 3 days of testing and experiencing gravel bikes in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Sport Conrad brings the gravel bike scene to the Zugspitz region for three days. The new format combines test rides, workshops and group rides against an Alpine backdrop. Both experienced riders and beginners will find plenty to try out and swap ideas with other bikers.

Tours and rideouts

The programme includes guided tours of various levels of difficulty. The routes range from 30 to 120 kilometres and lead over gravel paths as well as more challenging Alpine routes. Special women-only rideouts and a joint sunset ride round off the programme. The tours allow you to experience the diversity of the region and familiarise yourself with new routes.

Test and workshop offer

The latest gravel bikes and equipment are available on a specially equipped test area. Participants can ride the bikes under real conditions and get advice from experts and brand partners. Workshops will cover topics such as technology, set-up, bikepacking and service. Yoga sessions for regeneration round off the programme. Test bikes and equipment are offered at a special price.

Hans Conrad, Managing Director of Sport Conrad, explains the concept: "For us, it's not just about testing bikes, but above all about bringing people together and creating shared experiences in the mountains." Sara Hallbauer, Head of Marketing, adds: "Riding, learning and experiencing together creates a connection. To the sport and also to each other." Participation is possible via weekend passes or day passes. Both options include access to all rideouts, workshops and the supporting programme.
