With the new Pneuma CC Feedback Sports is launching a floor pump on the market that combines a classic floor pump with a tubeless booster. With the boost function, the air in the pressure cylinder is compressed and stored stroke by stroke and fills the tyre intermittently using the foot valve. This sounds like a clever idea for using the pump to quickly and reliably press tubeless tyres into the rim flange. When the foot lever is in the upper position, the Pneuma CC works like a classic floor pump.
Feedback Sports relies on a robust and ergonomic design for everyday use: its wide steel base has a large contact surface and offers stability. The air hose with a length of one metre facilitates handling when pumping. The 102-millimetre pressure gauge is large and easy to read. The pump head is compatible with both Presta and Schrader valves. Practical: There is an accessory compartment on the side of the handle with two adapters for ball and air mattress valves and space for small tools or repair kit.

We immediately liked the beautiful finish of the Pneuma CC: the pump cylinder is made of anodised aluminium, the steel base stands securely and the ergonomically shaped handle provides a wide support for the hands. The release lever, which releases the air blast for tubeless setups in a controlled manner, is solidly mounted and can be easily operated with the foot.
For the practical test, we inflated tyres in various sizes: We needed 15 strokes to inflate a 32 mm road tyre to five bar and a total of 25 strokes to inflate a 45 mm gravel tyre to four bar. These are comparatively good values.
The Feedback Sports pump also passed the Boost test with the 45 millimetre wide "Tracer" tyre from Specialized. We charged the pump cylinder to the maximum pressure of eleven bar. After two blasts of air, the tyre sidewalls were airtight in the rim flange.
Further findings: With a handle height of 73 centimetres, the pump is ideal to use from a height of 1.75 metres and changing the rubber seal from Presta (road bike) to Schrader (car) takes just a few seconds. Care should be taken when moving the clamping lever, which slams shut like a mousetrap when released. This can be a bit painful if your fingers are in the way.
The Pneuma CC from Feedback Sports is a solid and well-made floor pump with a wide range of applications. The pump cylinder has no play, the handle is easy to grip and the pressure gauge is easy to read. The pump head clamps firmly onto the valve, so your fingers should not be in the way when releasing it. The boost function works well with supple tyres and clever details, such as the small storage compartments in the handle, round off the package.
