Growing up in the Beskids, one of the best regions in Poland for mountain biking, the founders of roko.bike quickly learnt on challenging trails that a good bike is not just a piece of equipment, but a tool for discovering the world and pushing your own limits. Over time, their hobby developed into years of experience in MTB racing, especially in marathons, where comfort and reliability are crucial in addition to performance.
When they wanted to pass on their passion to the next generation, they realised that the market for children's bikes was completely different to that for adults. The available models were either cheap, heavy and not very well thought out or light and high-quality, but at the same time very expensive. There was a lack of bikes that combined low weight, high quality and a fair price. This gave rise to the idea of roko.bike bicycles, which are developed from the ground up for children, tailored to their needs, abilities and riding comfort.
The founders' technical expertise enabled the development of sophisticated frame concepts, while their MTB experience led to practical solutions that noticeably improve the riding experience. The result is bikes on which children exert themselves less, make faster progress and enjoy being out and about more.
Since day one, roko.bike has followed a clear principle: zero compromises. Every bike is based on a specially developed frame. The designs are thought through down to the last detail - the smallest possible frame accommodates the largest possible wheel, and the modern, progressive geometry ensures stability, control and comfort on any terrain.
The complete assembly takes place in Poland, in the factory in Wisła. As a result, the brand retains full control over the quality of workmanship and each bike is carefully checked before dispatch.
With roko.bike, there are no randomly selected components. Every single one is specially tailored to children - to their weight, their strength, their riding style and their needs. A children's bike must not be a scaled-down copy of an adult bike. It must be lighter, more agile and easier to control. This is why the overall weight is one of the most important parameters - and roko.bike is one of the absolute front runners here.
It is also important that the brand is one of the few to state the weight including pedals - so that customers receive a realistic, unadulterated value. The best example is the 16" Mountain model, which weighs just 4.7 kilos - the lightest children's bike in the world.
The brand claim "We create cycling passion" is not just an empty promise. The feedback from parents whose children no longer want to get off their bikes is the best proof that roko.bike encourages a real passion for cycling from an early age.
The Trail line includes the most technically advanced models. It is designed for children who ride in the mountains, love technical descents and want to develop their skills on challenging trails.
These bikes are made for real mountain bike adventures - light, robust and ready for anything.
Available wheel sizes: 20", 24", 26".
The Mountain line is technically closely related to the Trail seriesbut equipped with a rigid fork, which further reduces the weight. Ideal for children who are travelling both off-road and in the city and for whom an ultra-light bike is crucial.
One exception is the 16" Mountain model, which has slightly different features due to its size. It is the lightest children's bike in the world - and yet absolutely suitable for off-road use. Available sizes: 16", 20", 24".
The Adventure line is the most attractively priced serieswithout sacrificing the most important brand characteristics: low weight, sophisticated geometry and high quality workmanship. Available wheel sizes: 16", 20", 24", 26".
The 26" Adventure model weighs just 7.9 kilos including pedals - a value that other "super-light" bikes often only achieve on 20-inch models. This shows impressively how consistently roko.bike focusses on lightweight construction.
A central component of the roko.bike strategy is the elimination of middlemen. Every bike is shipped directly from the factory in Wisła. As a result, the prices remain extremely attractive despite the high-quality components and ultra-lightweight construction.
Shipping within the EU is always free of charge and the bike arrives perfectly set up and ready to ride.
The complete model range from roko.bike, including detailed specifications and prices, is available on the brand's website. It's worth a look: the bikes compare favourably with other models in every category - weight, quality, price and technical design.
