Muc-Off Pressure Washer: Clean everywhere - high-pressure cleaner with large tank in the test

When it comes to cleaning and care, there is hardly a product that cannot be found in the British company's bright pink range. From cleaning agents and chain oils to frame care, Muc-Off offers a huge selection - often with an intensely sweet fragrance. What was missing until now was a suitable device to rinse all the dirt off the bike on the go. But Muc-Off has now developed the Mobile Pressure Washer for this purpose.
Muc-Off high-pressure cleaner - the equipment
This is an all-in-one device that offers space for the battery, motor and 20 litres of washing water in its housing. The starter kit includes a five metre hose, three lances with different nozzles and pressure adjusters for cleaning bicycles or motorbikes, a foam nozzle with connection for the cleaner bottle, a 40 volt battery and a charger. Large castors and a folding handle make it easier to manoeuvre the device, which is quite heavy when fully filled.
Solid handling, weaknesses in detail
The handling is self-explanatory, all couplings and buttons can be operated intuitively. Impressive is the foam carpet that spreads from the connected cleaner bottle in an instant onto everything within a radius of five metres - although this is more suitable for larger areas and less for wiry vehicles where a lot of foam lands on the ground.
In our experience, the battery and water supply are sufficient for two well-soaked mountain bikes, whereby the battery runtime can be increased from around 15 to 25 minutes if you select Eco mode, which also lowers the maximum pressure to 35 (instead of 65) bar. The charging function control does not fulfil its task adequately; the empty battery takes around four hours to fully charge again.

We found the stubborn hose somewhat annoying, as it stubbornly rolls itself up again, interferes with handling and reduces the range when cleaning. A total of three spray patterns are possible, but these can only be changed by swapping the lances. As you would expect, the special attachment for bicycles works best. It sprays a sufficiently strong jet of water onto the bike with pinpoint accuracy and not too wide a spread. However, coarser dirt can only be removed with the high pressure setting.

Even with a full water tank, the device is easy to manoeuvre thanks to its wheels and foldable handle, provided the surface is reasonably level.
