From the very first turn of the cranks, the Stereo HPC-SLT 29 from Cube radiates a very special forward momentum.

No wonder, with a total weight of just 12.06 kilos including pedals. Despite the aluminium rear triangle, the Cube clearly sets itself apart from the competition and outshines even the more expensive reference bike. Above all, the combination of the Newmen carbon wheels and the fine Maxxis tyres saves more than 500 grams compared to the nearest competitor. As a result, the Stereo accelerates effortlessly, is easy to control and pulls willingly into the bunny hop. The rest of the equipment, with Fox Factory suspension and Shimano XT gears and brakes, is also of a very high quality and can hold its own against Canyon.

Conclusion on the Cube Stereo HPC-SLT 29

Peter Nilges, BIKE Test Manager : Thanks to its high-quality equipment and low weight, the Stereo HPC-SLT sets the tone in this test field and is placed in the middle of the trail category. The only criticism is for the rear suspension function.
