Knog launches two StVZO rear lights with COB LED and magnet system. The bicycle rear lights should be available from July. You can find all the details here in the quick check.

Knog presents two new StVZO-compliant rear lights. The Cobber StVZO uses COB LED technology with 330-degree illumination and a maximum output of 50 lumens. The Blinder Link StVZO works with a magnetic clip system and is the first approved rear light that can be attached to the saddle. Both models charge via USB-C.

The Cobber StVZO: COB technology with 330-degree visibility

The Cobber StVZO relies on COB LED technology. The abbreviation stands for Chips on Board. This design is intended to provide 330-degree illumination. The light is emitted to the rear and sides. A lithium-polymer battery supplies the LED with energy. The USB-C connection enables charging without an adapter. A display provides information about the charge level and warns when the battery is low.

The model offers three light modes. In high mode, the LED lights up with 50 lumens. The medium mode works with 35 lumens. In low mode, the light emits 20 lumens. A newly developed rubber band holds the light on the frame. It can be mounted without tools. The fastening strap can be attached and detached quickly. The housing is designed to be waterproof. The light is suitable for day and night riding. The price is 69.99 EUR.

The Blinder Link StVZO: Magnetic system with saddle mounting

The Blinder Link StVZO uses a magnetic clip system. The light snaps into the bracket and can be removed in seconds. Two mounting systems are included in the scope of delivery. One bracket fits on the saddle rails. The second bracket can be attached to the luggage carrier. An integrated clip allows the light to be attached to clothing, rucksacks or bags.

The model was the first rear light to be approved for mounting on or under the saddle. Knog worked together with the TÜV and the Federal Motor Transport Authority. The StVZO was adapted accordingly. This mounting option extends the range of applications.

The Blinder Link StVZO offers two light modes. In high mode, the LED lights up with 35 lumens. The low mode operates at 20 lumens. A lithium-polymer battery supplies the energy.
